This week’s question says: So here today I present to you an Unread Books Challenge. Give me the list or take a picture of all the books you have stacked on your bedside table, hidden under the bed or standing in your shelf – the books you have not read, but keep meaning to. The books that begin to weigh on your mind. The books that make you cover your ears in conversation and say, ‘No! Don’t give me another book to read! I can’t finish the ones I have!’
I’ve been seeing pictures of everyone’s TBR piles for quite some time, and everyone seems to be bemoaning over the fact that their stack is increasing rather than decreasing in size. Well, if you just look at the books I have to read that I own, I have manage to slim my stack down to a healthy 95 books, which you can peruse better on my GoodReads account. Healthy is my be relative, but I went from six jam packed bookshelves down to three with five books that have to lay on top of the others. I’m, to put it mildly, really happy with my progress. I still have two and a half more weeks until my move, so I’m hoping to finish more books in my to-be-read pile and decide to keep them or not. And, of course, I’m bound to finish some of them on the long drive from Dallas to Montana.
